Stitch n’ Bitch – Steel String’s weekly craft night for Menstrual Health Awareness Month!
Since May is Menstrual Health Awareness Month, this week’s craft night will have a special theme and a chance to give back. We will be fundraising for Carolina Abortion Fund, a local organization that offers care and guidance for folks in the Carolinas. There will be informational materials provided as well as chances to donate at the register and at QR codes placed around the taproom. We’re also donating 10% of sales starting at 7pm until close!
Per usual, Bring your own creative project – knitting kit, stitching project, sketch/coloring book, lego set, or whatever portable art of your choice and craft with us over a drink. Open to all – novices and hardcore “knit-wits” alike. Special on-theme crafts will be provided for the event including coloring pages, new origami patterns and collage supplies!
The hangout is free to attend and everyone simply covers their own cost of beer, wine cider, kombucha, soda, tea, or a non-alcoholic beer from the bar.
*This is not an organised class. Everyone will need to bring their own project to participate or use the pens + coloring books, origami and friendship bracelets supplies provided
