Steel String Sessions - Laura Jane Vincent

LJV  is a performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter. She writes ballads of strength loss and triumph featuring stories of those who should know better but just simply can’t help themselves.

She cut her teeth in various music scenes living in Charleston, SC, Asheville, NC & Nashville, NC, briefly but has performed at countless notable venues all over the southeast, northeast, and Midwest.

Her compositions are deeply rooted in Southern musical traditions of songwriting and storytelling but her indie rock influences shine through in both the Melodies and guitar riffs. She now resides in Glendon, North Carolina, where she is the creator and curator of the twice annual music festival, Glendonfest.
