Steel String Kölsch Service!

Debuting on Saturday June 15 at Pluck Farm – Steel String Kolsch Service – a periodic beer drinking experience. To celebrate the release of our collaboration with Eno River Brewing – Velvet Ermine Kolsch, we are serving it up in the traditional German manner – in small cylindrical glasses called Stanges served on trays called Kranzs brought directly to your table. 

Order your first pour at the bar and get a coaster with your drink we will use to tally how many you have had. Sit back and enjoy the simple pleasure of clean, crisp Kolsch beer on a warm spring day! Place your coaster on top of your glass to let the servers know you are finished or taking a break, bring your coaster with you when you close your tab. It’s like a mix of Dim Sum and a Brazilian steakhouse but with delicious beer.

Beers available as a part of kolsch service: Honey Kolsch, Sound City Altbier, and Eno River Brewing Vienna Lager.

Kolsch Service will run from 3pm-7pm, and service is limited to folks sitting in the pergola area.

If that isn’t enough, we’ve also got live music 4-6pm by Phinehas & Friends.

Pluck Farm is home to Steel String Brewery’s production facility. The farm has a beer garden, walking trails, a 18-hole disc golf course, lawn games, picnic tables, and a playground. It’s a wide open space and is a family- & dog-friendly outdoor venue.
