Forever Chemicals: North Carolina’s Toxic Tap Water Screening and Discussion
We’re excited to host a screening together with NC Conservation Network of WRAL’s 20-minute documentary, Forever Chemicals: North Carolina’s Toxic Tap Water. The documentary explores the damage caused by massive amounts of toxic chemicals called forever chemicals (or PFAS) being dumped into the Cape Fear River for decades.
Directly following the screening, we’ll have a short discussion about forever chemicals in our state. We’ll also have some immediate actions you can take to help us stop forever chemical pollution.
Steel String will be donating 10% of proceeds that evening to support NC Conservation Network’s important mission to ensure that everyone has access to clean drinking water and a healthy life in our state.
The screening is free and open to all ages.
Please RSVP to reagan@ncconservationnetwork.org so we can ensure we prepare enough seats for the screening.
