TaxiCab Preacher Live at Pluck Farm

Saturday afternoon live tunes at Steel String Brewery’s Pluck Farm featuring TaxiCab Preacher!

Taxicab Preacher (TCP) is a soulful Americana band rolling down the road from Chapel Hill, NC. Fronted by the charismatic singer Hailey “Doc” Brighton, TCP performs regularly throughout the Piedmont at breweries, clubs and community gatherings. With Chris Zagar (guitar/vocals), Don Miller (drums/vocals), and Patrick “PV” Vernon (bass/vocals), the band delivers high-energy performances on stages both big and small.

A series of serendipitous events brought these four musicians together in Chapel Hill in 2018, where they quickly formed a deep connection and began writing original songs. Juggling jobs, parenthood, graduate studies, and pregnancies, the band continued to grow and evolve, fueled by their shared love of music, released their first EP of all original tunes, Solid Ground, in the fall of 2024.
