Ugly Sweater Party!

Christmas is coming early to Steel String! Join us this Saturday, December 9th, for an Ugly Sweater Party at the taproom 7pm onwards. 

Rock a holiday sweater and get your own cookie to decorate. We’ve got the cookies, icing, and sprinkles ready for you create the holiday sweater of your dreams (or nightmares). 

*Cookies limited to the first 40 sweater wearers*

As you decorate we’ll play a round of music bingo – holiday themed! Players are given a bingo card where traditional bingo numbers have been replaced with names of holiday tunes. If you hear the song being played over the speakers, cross it off on your card. A bingo gets you a drink on the house! Play outside on the patio or inside the taproom. 

Prizes for best decorated cookie and the best holiday sweaters will be awarded after the music bingo round wraps up at 8:30pm, so stick around.

Straight after we’ll host a sing-along karaoke. You pick what songs you want to sing, we’ll give you the mic and put lyrics on the screen for everyone to see.  Singing along is encouraged, no matter your singing skills. 

We’ll have Steel String’s seasonal beers: Vohammie, our spice plum festive ale, and Secular Non-Denominational Holiday Ale on tap. Both are guaranteed to put you in good holiday spirits. If your sweater is not keeping you warm enough, we will also have hot cocoa, spiced apple cider, and tea available.
