Meyer's & Duke’s Mayo Hot Tomato Summer

Duke’s Mayo and Meyer’s Food Truck are throwing a Hot Tomato Summer party at Steel String Brewery’s Carrboro Taproom! Come celebrate the tomato season with the iconic southern duo – mayo and tomatoes. Unique Duke’s mayo-themed food with ingredients sourced from local businesses, music and good times are on the menu.

🍅BLT Waffledog

Weslin Farms locally raised andouille dipped in waffle batter and served on a stick with Duke’s BLT aioli

🍅Stoney Bologna

Housemade smoked bologna, Eat Dirt Farm Cherokee Purples and lettuces, fried Duke’s Mayo on toasted Sour Bakery sourdough. Everything is grown by artisans from in Alamance Co.

🍅Fried Green Tomato Hushpuppies

Hushpuppies stuffed with pickled green tomato and served with Duke’s remoulade and local arugula.

Food available from 5pm until sold out!

🍅 Steel String Brewery will offer the classic Mexican cocktail Michelada combining their summer quenching brew – Oak’s Lime, a light lager brewed with lime zest, together with spicy tomato juice and tajin.
