Fool's Faire 2023 - Renaissance Festival

Come one, come all! The time has come to announce the collaboration of Steel String Brewery, Beer Study, and Honeygirl Meadery hosting one of the grandest affairs on the 11th of November! We invite you to our Fool’s Faire, a renaissance festival on the fields of Pluck Farm! Fantastical beverages, craft vendors & artisans, medieval food vendors, feats of strength, cosplay contest, and more!
–↠ ACTIVITIES ↞–
↠ Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux ↞ 12-5pm
The Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux recreates an Order of Knights dedicated to the values of the Code of Chivalry to serve each other, family, community and especially children’s organizations. Their motto is “Absom lucis Tenebrae obtinebis” which means “in the absence of light, darkness prevails.” The knights strive to do good wherever they go.
From noon until sundown they will host a Build-a-Boffer workshop, and let you Fight-a-Knight.
Don’t miss their full-speed, full-contact sword combat demonstrations at 1:30PM and 4:30PM!
↠ CLAWS Inc. ↞ 12-5pm
CLAWS is an all volunteer run organization rescuing, rehabilitating and speaking for North Carolina Wildlife. Visit their tent for a birds of prey showcase of where you’ll get a chance to meet and learn about owls, falcons, hawks and corvids up close.
Both The Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux and CLAWS Inc. are nonprofit organisations run by volunteers. Please consider giving a donation and/or buy merch to support their cause!
