Join us for a special outdoor screening of The Last Waltz at Pluck Farm!
On Thanksgiving Day in 1976, The Band took the stage for their legendary farewell concert at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. They were joined by an incredible lineup of icons from the late ’60s and ’70s—Ronnie Hawkins, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Paul Butterfield, Bobby Charles, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, The Staple Singers, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood, and Neil Young.
Widely considered one of the greatest concert films ever made, The Last Waltz has become a beloved Thanksgiving tradition since its release in 1978.
We’ll have fires going to keep you warm—just bring a lawn chair or blanket, get cozy, and enjoy one of the most iconic concert films of all time under the stars.
For the ones who prefer an indoor screening – a screening of the movie will be held 7-9pm at Steel String’s Carrboro Taproom!
