This Friday 5-8pm, April 25th, Christian Thompson chef and owner of Pork In The Road will be at Steel String Brewery’s Carrboro taproom for another long-awaited Low Country Boil. Juicy shrimp served with boiled new potatoes, corn on the cob, andouille sausage, and homemade Cajun remoulade, alongside other mains.

➤ SHRIMP BOIL:

  • Baby Boil: $15 (1/2 lb Shrimp w/ fixins)
  • Standard Boil: $25 (1 lb Shrimp w/ fixins)
  • Large Boil: $40 (2 lb Shrimp w/ fixins)

➤ MAINS:

  • “Veggielaya”: $10 – A vegan twist on traditional jambalaya
  • Uncle Paul’s Red Beans and Rice: $10  – Red beans simmered with onions, bell peppers, celery, and PITR Tasso Ham. 
  • Chef Szymon’s Boudin: $7 (2 links) seasoned pork, rice, onions, and spices, all stuffed into a sausage casing.
