Slam Poetry Night - West End Poetry Festival

Carrboro’s West End Poetry Festival 2023 will wrap up with a Slam Poetry Night at Steel String Brewery’s Carrboro Taproom on Saturday October 21st, 7-9pm. hosted by Dasan Ahanu 

Slam Poetry is a form of performance poetry that combines the elements of performance, writing, competition, and audience participation. The event is free, no ticket or rsvp required.

The West End Poetry Festival welcomes all poets and all people curious about or interested in poetry. There are opportunities to meet people, hang out, listen to poetry, share poetry, and celebrate poetry and those who love it.
