Overflowing with gratitude for last nights Beers Made By Walking event. It was a tremendous to pour Myth of Fingerprints our mixed culture Saison with foraged NC persimmons for an appreciative crowd along side so many inspiring Brewers๐Ÿ™Œ. We have learned a ton from Colorados world class beer community over the years, being able to show off a beer we are incredibly proud of has been humbling ๐Ÿ™. Huge thanks to @senseofdavid for inviting us and organizing this one of a kind event. Also shout out to the kind stranger who gave me these pretty flowers ๐ŸŒบ. #ncbeer #craftbeer #saison #cobeer #gabf

Received these lovely Chatham County grown Tobago and Holy Mole…

Received these lovely Chatham County grown Tobago and Holy Mole peppers ๐ŸŒถ yesterday. They will infuse on our No Quarter Coffee Stout for pouring at this Sunday’s @abundance_nc Pepperfest 2017! The Tobago are bred from Habanero to retain the flavor with a much gentler heat. The Holy Mole are a spicier version of the Pasilla pepper used in Mole. These peppers should add a nice citrus quality and a lip-tingling level of heat. Come sample this unique beverage on Sunday and help support local sustainability efforts! #ncbeer #craftbeer #pepperfestnc

Carly is pouring beer at one of our favorite events each year. @carrborofarmersmarket Annual Harvest Dinner celebrates the local farmers that make our food economy go. We are tremendously blessed to be surrounded by such a brilliant farm community, it’s an honor to play a small part supporting it. #ncbeer #ncfarms #carrborofarmersmarket #harvest

No Quarter makes its autumnal return today when the taproom opens. Heath, our newish head of brewing operations has retooled our dark beer program and his work really shows on No Quarter. This stout hits all the roasty, chocolate notes one would expect. There is a lovely integration of the Carrboro Coffee Roasters cold brew we added, and the balance between the lush creamy sweetness and chewy malt backbone is dialed in. Definitely glad No Quarter is back, expect it to be a regular part of the taproom throughout the colder months. #ncbeer #craftbeer #noquarter #coffeestout #stout

Shady Grove Raspberry Sour Red is back! On draft in…

Shady Grove Raspberry Sour Red is back! On draft in the tap room for $8.50 full / $5.50 half pour and to go for $13 a 500mL. We only have a limited number of kegs but it should be available all weekend.

We brewed the base for this beer in August 2016, and after resting almost a year in oak, we racked it onto 500 pounds of Western North Carolina shade-grown raspberries.

Has a huge raspberry aroma, and might be a little more acidic than last year’s batch, but has some sweet biscuit and berry underneath that rounds the whole thing out.

We are very excited with the development of Blue Laurie,…

We are very excited with the development of Blue Laurie, a white wine barrel aged Brett Saison refermented on over 500 pounds of local blueberries. The blueberry refermentation has taken this beer on a wild ride, initially it was all fruit and then it got super funky but recently the beer has balanced out very nicely with the berry notes making a comeback and the gnarly funk taking a backseat. It’s always surprising and wondrous what the microbes that make our beer will do when given time and something new to ferment. This beer is nearly ready to package, so keep an eye out for an October release. #ncbeer #craftbeer #brettanomyces #blueberry
