There have been few moments in our 4 and 1/2 year history when we have filled all our taps with our own beer. Brewing on a relatively tiny 7bbl system and putting more beer than ever out in package, it’s often been a struggle to keep the taproom stocked. Will and Heath have been brewing like crazy to make sure we have a top notch selection of beers that represent the breadth of what we make, and something to suit every type of beer drinker. Two funky and fruity beers drop in bottles this week! Today we release Myth of Fingerprints, a mixed culture Saison refermented on foraged persimmons. Myth of Fingerprints has been available on tap for a few weeks now, now you can bring it home with you.
The second beer is Blue Laurie, our white wine barrel aged Brett Saison refermented on heaps of NC blueberries. We’ll put this beer on tap and in the fridge closer to the weekend, as our taps are bursting at the seams at the moment. Blue Laurie is a beautifully complex beer marrying white wine and tannic oak flavors with blueberry acidity and a deep Brett funk.

New Beer 🍻- Hang Up Your Hang-ups, Herb Grisette 5%. This is our base grisette with holy basil and lemon
verbana from Hannah @poppysolnc and shiso and pineapple sage from sunshine farms. We further aged it on sassafrass wood spirals. Upfront the aroma presents like an amaro or herbal liquors like fernet and absinthe. There is a pleasant lemon quality throughout and slight tannic finish. Overall a really nice balance between herbal complexity and refreshing Saison dryness. #ncbeer #craftbeer #grisette
