Beers From Here – A collaboration between local beverage producers and the Triangle Land Conservancy. Each participant will lead foraging walks through nearby TLC preserves and produce a unique beverage inspired by and utilizing ingredients collected during the walk.
The four participants are Steel String, Fullsteam Brewery, Mystery Brewing Company, and Chatham Cider Works. Each producer has agreed to donate a portion of their sales from their beverage directly to TLC to support their efforts of managing and protecting wild spaces around the Triangle.
We will host a ticketed banquet in the evening on Nov 11th at TLC’s Irvin preserve in Chapel Hill. This will be your chance to try each of these unique brews accompanied by food from local chefs. More information on the banquet coming soon!
We are excited to partner with nice folks at Piedmont Picnic Project who will help guide the walks and provide plenty of information of on plant identification and responsible, safe foraging practices. If you are interested in learning more about foraging consider attending one of their regularly scheduled walks.
